General Description
Since 2001, Enol Winery has contributed the “Made in Albania” brand
to the country’s wine production. In the last four years, Enol has become an ideal getaway destination, away from the city and into the tranquility and calm of a natural landscape. Located near the Castle of Preza, surrounded by an idyllic landscape, the welcoming winery offers a unique experience. This includes deliciously fresh traditional food, relaxing and comforting spaces, and, of course, wine tasting, among other activities. The winery’s four spacious rooms, designed in a pleasant contemporary style, offer all of the necessary amenities. The verandas and balconies serve to enhance the experience of the region’s naturally beautiful landscape. Located only a 40-minute-drive from Tirana and 25 minutes from the Mother Teresa International Airport, the winery remains close to the city while allowing the visitor to enter another luxurious and relaxing realm.
Activities
In addition to pleasant outdoor hikes and cooking classes on authentic Albanian recipes, Enol Winery also offers a tour through its vineyards and canteen as well as wine tasting opportunities. Inclusion in the traditional grape harvesting and pressing processes represents only one of the unique experiences that the winery offers.
Package Deals
This winery offers three separate package deals depending on individual
tastes and preferences:
Package Deal 1
1. Lunch. Traditional cooking with local, organic, farm-fresh products. Meat products are not included in this package but can be added to the menu at an additional cost.
2. Winery Visit. Becoming familiar with the grape varietals and different labels offered by the winery.
3. Wine Tasting. The opportunity to enjoy all of the wines available in the winery.
4. Vineyard Tour with Chickens & Ducks. A walk along the vineyards where you can meet with the various small farm animals like chickens,ducks and more.
Package Deal 2
1. Lunch. Traditional cooking with local, organic, farm-fresh products. Meat products are not included in this package but can be added to the menu at an additional cost.
2. Hiking. Ideal opportunity for hiking enthusiasts to explore the landscape and trails of the beautiful area.
3. Wine Tasting. The opportunity to enjoy all of the wines available in the winery.
4. Vineyard Tour: An educational walk around the vineyard with information of its history, grape varietals, and more.
Package Deal 3
1. Lunch. Traditional cooking with local, organic, farm-fresh products. Meat products are not included in this package but can be added to the menu at an additional cost.
2. Fruit and Vegetable Harvesting. Joining in the harvesting of seasonal fruits and vegetables and coming into close contact with the farm’s products.
3. Traditional Pie-Making Class: A chance to learn the secrets behind
the delicious homemade Albanian byrek, one of the country’s oldest and most popular recipes.
